The Oops

Mrs. Green is a chubby and open-minded lady in her early 50s. She is a very fast worker, but always likes to do things at the last second. Right now she is planning to have a party. She will bake a big loaf of banana bread and cook many other dishes. The main course is still the bread, though.
On the day of the party, she starts to make the dough for the bread. When she is putting the ingredients together, she accidentally think yeast is flour, and adds too much of it. But Mrs. Green is too excited about the party to notice that mistake. She puts the mixture into the mixer, and stirs it until it is smooth.  Next, she shapes the lump of dough into the perfect loaf of bread.
She puts it on a plate to rise a bit, while she goes to Costco to get groceries for the other dishes. When she comes back, the size of her bread shocks her. It has filled up almost all of her medium-sized kitchen. She quietly mutters the word “oops” to herself. After a lot of grunting and sweating, Mrs. Green finally gets the giant loaf into her yard. She  sits down a chair,  wondering what she should do with the dough. Suddenly, as if by magic, an idea pops into her mind. Mrs. Green has gone camping a few times and knows how to make a campfire. So she makes a sizeable one and hangs the big loaf over it with clean metal rods she has found. Now, when the bread is finished, she places it on many sheets of tinfoil, surrounded by many other dishes.
When the guests come, they are amazed at the size of the banana bread. Everybody loves the food, especially the bread. Even though all the guests eat a lot of the bread, there is still three-fourths left.
Mrs. Green’s “oops” ended up being a huge success. Also, the bread will last for a long time before it is finished.
