Golfing (Feb. 2012)

Last summer I learned how to play golf. I learned this skill from my dad and a golf coach named Bruce Thompson. My whole family enjoys this sport greatly because it’s not tiring and it lets us spend time together. The directions for playing aren’t hard to follow, but if you don't do them right, you're not going to play well.
First, you need the right equipment. The right clubs are usually found in all the golf stores. But you still need a professional recommendation. The type of clubs you need depend on your strength, height, weight, age, and skill level. Next, find a golfing range to practice. Then, get a good coach to teach you to play golf. You could start practicing with different clubs like woods or irons. You should also learn to do chipping, putting and sand. All of these are very important before you can go to the real golf course. After you’re pretty good at it, maybe you could let the coach take you up to the golf course to try out your skills and also learn some basic rules for tournaments while playing. Maybe after constant practice, you could become a pro!
