My Trip to the Zoo (Alphabet Sentences)
Last summer, I went to the zoo with my mom and some friends. My mom drove for 2 hours before we reached there. After we got our tickets, we went for a bus tour. On the bus tour we saw many animals. Flamingos stood in the water watching us with their arrogant necks, some sticking their legs out to tease the visitors. Eight lions snored loudly and didn't wake up when we passed them. Jaguars stared evilly at us, which kind of scared me. Giant elephants stomped their feet while stuffing their mouths full of hay. Happy-looking pandas chewed slowly at their bamboo with satisfaction. Chunky hippos hid shyly in the water, only showing their two tiny ears that can't seem to match their gigantic body size. Schools of small fish swam around the hippos so fast it made me dizzy. Kangaroo mommies hopped around their territory, holding their babies in the pouches. Zebras galloped crazily round and round inside their fences. I wondered if they wanted to escape and go to the wild. Vipers were asleep inside large glass cages. Those are about all the animals that I saw on the tour. Wait, no, that's not all. Pardon me for my bad memory. Uhhh, those tigers still creep me out. "Roared me half to death, oh yes they did!" I told my dad when we got home. Now we were heading for the theater to watch a movie about nature. Quietly, we sat down in an empty tow of seats. Babies sat in the front row with their mommies, silently, like educated grown-ups. Daddies sat next to their wives, like guards. X-rays were in progress next door for a sick animal when the movie ended, so we watched them through a window. Yoshiro, who was the assistant vet, shooed us off when he saw us, which ended our visit to the zoo.
